I first met Karl back in 2005 whilst I was a Service Centre Manager for one of the divisions of Smiths Metal Centres down in north London.

Instantly I recognised that not only was this someone who was incredibly passionate about what they did, but who had a genuine obsession with the bathroom sector.

Karl is unique. He’s a person who has the innate ability to look at a product and instantly think of a way of improving the design and the engineering that has gone into it – enhancing the overall shower experience for the consumer. He is a true innovator.

In 2005 Karl started purchasing raw material from us to manufacture samples of the products he had designed. As an individual, I love to see our material pushed to its limits and Karl was – and still is – doing exactly that. Karl is constantly pushing the boundaries of the material’s capabilities, striving to deliver the ultimate product.

Karl shares the same philosophy that I do – to offer the ultimate in quality whilst providing an industry-leading service and optimum value for the customer – each and every time.

Over the years I have got to know Karl as a person and not just a customer, and when the opportunity presented itself for Smiths to partner with him it was simply too good an opportunity to turn down. I personally look forward to watching the Kanth brand grow throughout the world, delivering a truly unique shower experience in the process.
